West Propels Desperados to 8-2 Win
|
Riding the 2-hit performance of the 22-year old shortstop Joe West, the Santa Rosa Desperados stopped the Fremont Ambassadors, 8-2. Micah Cole, the winner, goes to 5-2. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts over 7 innings. With the win, Santa Rosa raised its record to 31-18.
Bryan Erck contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the third. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run single. His at-bat helped Santa Rosa get the win.
