The San Antonio Stallions topped the Cottage City Cannonballers, 4-3, in 10 innings at Alamo Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of San Antonio pitcher Corey Alexander. San Antonio reliever Carlos Diaz was the winner. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was Jack Woolsey. The first-place Stallions have a one-game lead in their division.

The Stallions got a clutch hit from right fielder Pete Lemish. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Stallions.

"To become 'battle-tested,'" said Alexander, "you need to compete in this kind of contest."
