The St. Catharines Blue Jays picked up a win at Engineers Ballpark, topping the Santa Rosa Desperados, 3-1. On the mound for St. Catharines was right-hander Mike Mayes. He played a principal role in the triumph. Picking up his 1st save was 23-year old right-handed pitcher Antonio Villareal. St. Catharines sits in first place in the Northern A West Division at 23-20.
