Jet Hawks Raise Rally Flag, Beat St. Catharines, 14-11
Getting a good performance from second baseman Chris Swain, the Grand Rapids Jet Hawks defeated the St. Catharines Blue Jays, 14-11. Swain was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Jet Hawks. The win went to Keith Kramer in relief, making him now 2-0. Evan Sippel took the loss for St. Catharines. Grand Rapids now sits at 28-14, while St. Catharines falls to 24-18.

Grand Rapids used the clutch hitting of Curt Holy to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Jet Hawks the lead, 14-11. For the game, Holy had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
