The San Antonio Stallions did just enough to sneak past the Glace Bay Miners, 7-6, at Alamo Field. San Antonio pitcher Sean Gary, in particular, had a standout performance. Kevin McGaha wrapped it up, recording his 4th save. The Stallions go to 16-26 with the win.

San Antonio took a 7-6 lead on Patrick Burt's 6th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Burt hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Glace Bay pitcher Jim Handshoe visibly frustrated.

"We ground out the win," said Burt. "That's all that matters."
