The Santa Rosa Desperados beat the Huntsville Rockets, 4-3, at Keelhaulers Ballpark. Danny Espinoza, in particular, was impressive. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. The first-place Desperados now have a record of 33-6.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Espinoza hit a cutter from Rich Sargent for a solo home run. The Desperados, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"The crowd was juiced," said Espinoza.
