Grand Rapids Makes It 7 Straight with 6-4 Win
The Grand Rapids Jet Hawks and Fremont Ambassadors completed their game despite the inclement weather.

Despite a great performance by Fremont center fielder Dylan Talarico, the Grand Rapids Jet Hawks defeated the Ambassadors by the score of 6-4 at Jet Hawks Ballpark. Talarico went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs. Grand Rapids reliever Ben Wiggins picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Steve Adams was tagged with the loss. James Straughn closed out the game, earning his 4th save.

Grand Rapids took a 5-3 lead on Ben Porter's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Porter hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Fremont pitcher Steve Adams visibly frustrated.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Porter said after the game.

The Jet Hawks have now reeled off 7 straight wins.
