Kimmel Delivers Walk-Off Win for Ambassadors
Greg Moreno was the difference-maker for the Fremont Ambassadors in what turned into a shootout with the Santa Rosa Desperados. Moreno, who is tied for 10th in the N-A in triples with 1, went 4-for-5 in the 12-11 Ambassadors win. Fremont reliever Jim Unknown picked up the win to move to 1-0. Cory Newton suffered the loss. The loss makes Santa Rosa 23-13.

The game came to a climactic end in the bottom of the tenth. With Fremont trailing 11-8, Jimmy Kimmel delivered the big blow, hitting a fastball from Cory Newton for a grand slam home run. Just like that, the Ambassadors had a walk-off win.

"Sometimes you get the ball in the right spot and it goes," said Kimmel.
