Losing Streak Continues for Ambassadors with 2-0 Loss to Miners
The Glace Bay Miners got a magnificent effort from pitcher Colin Andrus, who kept Fremont hitters in check en route to a 2-0 Miners win at Miners Memorial Bowl. This loss makes it 9 in a row for Fremont.

Tied up with the Ambassadors in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Miners got a boost from left fielder Cory Donaghy. With a runner on 2nd, Donaghy saw a first pitch curveball from Yoshinobu Sugiyama and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Glace Bay on top, 1-0.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Glace Bay manager Angel Cano.
