Trolls Earn Clutch Win, 6-5
Fans watched the Tyler Trolls and the Kansas City Dust Devils fight to the finish.

Tyler beat Kansas City at Kansas City Grounds, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to first baseman Jordan Williams. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 runs. Alex Compean claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record stands at 1-2. Malachi Morrison closed out the game, earning his 2nd save.

In the top of the fifth, Tyler right fielder Chad Hines had a run-producing at-bat. Facing Kansas City hurler Justin Ashe, Hines drew a walk, driving in 1 run. That made the score 5-3, Tyler. For the day, Hines went 1 for 2 with 2 walks.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Hines said in reaction to the win.
