The Santa Rosa Desperados and St. Catharines Blue Jays played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.
Santa Rosa turned a fine outing from starter Ken Fox into a victory over the St. Catharines Blue Jays at Keelhaulers Ballpark. The final score was 3-1. Fox, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 2 walks.
