St. Catharines and Kansas City duked it out and the Blue Jays came out victorious.

Starting pitcher Fabian Ruiz was a major factor in the 5-2 St. Catharines Blue Jays triumph over the Kansas City Dust Devils. Picking up the save was 24-year old left-handed pitcher Chase Harriger.

Making an impact for the home team was Kevin Dobson. In the bottom of the fourth, the 25-year old second baseman had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. That made the score 3-1, Blue Jays.

"I thought we played a nice game," Dobson told the St. Catharines Observer. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."

Kansas City now is 14-14.
