Blue Jays Capture Close Win
St. Catharines picked up a win at Engineers Ballpark, bumping off the Newark Flyers, 4-3. Pitcher Jon Agans was a major reason the Blue Jays emerged victorious. St. Catharines pitcher Juan Cotto got the win. He's now 3-1. Ben Cox was tagged with the loss. The loss drops Newark to 13-15.

St. Catharines got a clutch hit from Tommy King. The pinch hitter launched a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Newark manager Matt Conners said, following the tough loss.
