Ochoa Shines in 9-3 Newark Win
The Newark Flyers defeated the Cottage City Cannonballers, 9-3, at Cannonballers Ballpark. Newark third baseman Alex Ochoa had a superb performance. He was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. For the Cannonballers, the loss makes them 11-17.

The Flyers got an important contribution from catcher Jeff Higdon, who in the top of the fifth hit a fastball to left-center for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Flyers ahead, 9-0.

"I feel like we're rolling now," Ochoa told the Newark Gazette."The dugout is coming alive."
