A 4-RBI performance from the 20-year old catcher Matt Lepa helped the Huntsville Rockets beat the St. Catharines Blue Jays, 10-2. The winner was Juan Cazares, who threw 92 pitches over 5.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 3 hits. Huntsville sits at 15-10 in the early going.

With Huntsville leading 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh, Lepa hit a fastball from Chris Porter for a grand slam home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Rockets ahead, 7-2.
