Ambassadors Rally Late to Clip St. Catharines
The Fremont Ambassadors faced a tough opponent in St. Catharines pitcher Scott Staffieri, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Ballpark of Fremont by a final score of 5-4. Staffieri went 6.1 innings and allowed 3 runs. Jeff Lewis snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-1 on the season. B.B. Berube suffered the loss. Fremont has a record of 9-13.

Fremont went up, 5-3, on Greg Moreno's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Moreno hit in the bottom of the eighth, left St. Catharines pitcher B.B. Berube shaking his head.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Moreno.
