Huseman Excels, But Miners Win
Newark got a terrific game from third baseman Chris Huseman. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Glace Bay, 12-10. Huseman slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. The win gives the Miners a record of 13-8.

Steve Muljana helped out the Glace Bay cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the catcher drew 1 walk in 6 plate appearances, while scoring 2 times.
