Sad Sack Ambassadors Lose 6th Straight

Conditions were not ideal but Grand Rapids and Fremont were able to put their game in the books.
The Grand Rapids Jet Hawks racked up a win at Jet Hawks Ballpark, bumping off the Fremont Ambassadors, 3-1. Adam Mesler, who started for Grand Rapids, pitched effectively for his team. At 13-6, the Jet Hawks have played well so far.
Chris Swain played the role of hero for Grand Rapids. In the bottom of the ninth, he launched a 3-run home run off Jim Unknown to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was the decisive blow.
Grand Rapids manager Sadayuki Nishikawa praised his team's "businesslike approach."
