Fremont Beats Huntsville, 4-3
|
With first baseman Brett DiCosola leading the charge, the Fremont Ambassadors defeated the Huntsville Rockets, 4-3, at Ballpark of Fremont. DiCosola hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. With the loss, Huntsville sinks to 9-10.
DiCosola contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Fremont in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, DiCosola took a sinker from Derek Sigers and stroked the home run to left. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Ambassadors to leap in front, 3-2.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said DiCosola.
