Omar Valentin had a strong outing for the Santa Rosa Desperados against the Tampa Capitals at Capitals Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Valentin, the winner, moves to 1-1. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up 1 walk. Idhma Kodandarami earned his 1st save, after closing out the game.
