Jacob Leads Rockets to 4-2 Win Over Cannonballers
Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Huntsville Rockets got the win.

The 3-hit performance of Jacob Jacob, who is tied for 6th in the N-A in triples with 1, helped the Huntsville Rockets beat the Cottage City Cannonballers, 4-2. Huntsville reliever Jonathan Bruckert picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Jim Unknown was tagged with the loss. Rich Sargent earned save number 4 this season.

Huntsville took a 4-2 lead on Jacob's 7th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Jim Unknown in the top of the eighth, propelled Huntsville to the win.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Jacob said.

Cottage City, now 4-16, has gotten off to a terrible start.
