Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Tyler Trolls take on the St. Catharines Blue Jays.

Trolls second baseman John Anderson left his mark on his team's 7-5 win over the St. Catharines Blue Jays. Anderson, who is tied for 3rd in the N-A in home runs with 4, was 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 for Tyler in the contest. Kevin McGaha closed the door for Tyler, picking up his 4th save of the year.

Michael Cruz drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate for Tyler. With two out and the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, Cruz had a clutch at-bat. Facing St. Catharines hurler Josh Pegan, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run to give the Trolls a 6-5 lead.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Cruz.

For the Blue Jays, the loss makes them 5-9.
