The Fremont Ambassadors beat the Tampa Capitals, 10-3, at Capitals Ballpark. Francisco O'Brien, in particular, was impressive. He went 1-3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Tony Hendrix earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 1.2 innings. His record is now 2-1. Micah Brown wrapped it up, recording his 1st save.

Fremont shortstop Dustin Helm produced at a critical juncture. It happened in the top of the eighth with Dave Velez on the mound and Fremont leading 4-3. Helm drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"I think we all put in a good day's work," said O'Brien.

The loss drops Tampa to 7-6.
