In a low-scoring contest between the Grand Rapids Jet Hawks and the Tyler Trolls, 23-year old left-handed pitcher Chris Brown proved to be the difference. The Grand Rapids left-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Jet Hawks win. The winner in relief was Satoshi Nishiyama. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. Eddie Clickner finished to wrap up his 3rd save.

Tyler Renfro hit a solo home run off Yuji Nakagawa in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Jet Hawks ahead, 2-1. In addition to the homer, Renfro had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Grand Rapids skipper Sadayuki Nishikawa.

With the win, Grand Rapids improves its record to 4-5.
