The Fremont Ambassadors besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Tampa designated hitter Chris Reyes by beating the Capitals, 4-3, at Ballpark of Fremont. Reyes was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. Fremont reliever Jeff Maggard snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Aaron Kent shouldered the loss.
