The Santa Rosa Desperados needed 12 innings to beat the Glace Bay Miners, 4-3, at Keelhaulers Ballpark. Mickey Michael, for one, had a fine performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. With the win, Santa Rosa lifts its record to 3-6.

The Desperados got a clutch hit from left fielder Armando Cuevas. In the bottom of the 12th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Desperados.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Cuevas said.
