Desperados Collect 2-1 Win Over Miners
The Santa Rosa Desperados earned a close win over the Glace Bay Miners, thanks in part to Dave Golash. The Santa Rosa right-hander played a key role in the 2-1 victory. Glace Bay now has a record of 4-4.

The Desperados relied on designated hitter Sean Welliver for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"Dave pitched like a champ," said Santa Rosa manager Angel Cano.
