With first baseman T.J. Walker leading the charge, the Huntsville Rockets defeated the Santa Rosa Desperados, 8-2, at Ballpark of Austin. Walker, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2020 draft, hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Picking up the win was Juan Cazares. He went 6.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 3 hits. The right--hander struck out 4 and walked 0. With the win, Huntsville lifts its record to 4-2.

Walker contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Huntsville in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Walker took a sinker from John Manship and stroked the home run to left-center. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Rockets to leap in front, 2-1.
