Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Jim Gavilanes, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2021 draft, the Glace Bay Miners defeated the Fremont Ambassadors, 9-1. Alvaro Salas, 2-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.1 innings. The win gives Glace Bay a record of 5-1.
