Newark got a terrific game from designated hitter Micah Clark. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Kansas City, 9-7. Clark went 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Evan Perez recorded his 1st save for Kansas City. The victory makes Kansas City 2-4.
