The Tyler Trolls opened their 2025 season with a disappointing 7-5 loss to the Fremont Ambassadors at Trolls Field. Catcher John Ramshaw was a big part of the win for Fremont. He went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Fremont pitcher Eric Esposito got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Arturo Feliciano got the loss. Joe Ault finished the game for Fremont and earned his 1st save.

Ramshaw had a key at-bat for Fremont in the top of the second. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and gave Fremont an early 3-0 lead.

"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Ramshaw.
