Cannonballers Pull Out Late Win, 5-4
The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.

The Cottage City Cannonballers defeated the Santa Rosa Desperados, 5-4, in 10 innings. Much of the credit belonged to first baseman Alex Torres, who was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs and a walk for the Cannonballers. Cottage City is now 1-1.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Torres hit a fastball from Matt Westerman for a solo home run. The Cannonballers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

Cottage City manager Justin Eaglin called it "a darn good win."
