Rockets Tack 6-2 Loss on San Antonio
|
Huntsville pitcher Brett Emma did his part in helping his team defeat the San Antonio Stallions, 6-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Huntsville reliever Jonathan Bruckert picked up the win. Stephon Diallo took the loss for San Antonio. The win takes Huntsville to 2-2.
It could have been a different outcome for Huntsville, had it not been for Tom Steiner, the 22-year old second baseman . Steiner contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh inning to put Huntsville up, 4-2.
"It was our day today," Steiner told the Huntsville Observer. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
