Caballero Deals Syracuse 9-1 Setback
Syracuse had no answer for 32-year old right-handed pitcher Winston Caballero. The Toronto Trash Pandas starter stymied Scorpions hitters, helping the Trash Pandas cruise to victory, 9-1. The Scorpions, now 7-21, continue their slow start.

Caballero earned the win, going 7.2 strong innings for Toronto. The right-hander allowed just 1 hit, while striking out 8. Syracuse hitters had little success against him.

"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Caballero. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
