The Riverside Rotters picked up a win at Rotters Ballpark, topping the Rohnert Park Cougars, 4-1. On the mound for Riverside was left-hander Adam Asbury. He played a principal role in the triumph. The winner was Asbury. He threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The loser was Antonio Renteria. With the win, Riverside pushed its record to 92-45.

Jerry Alvarado had a big 3-run home run for the Rotters in the bottom of the second inning. With Riverside leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a changeup from 24-year old left-handed pitcher Antonio Renteria and punished it. The result was his 11th home run of the season, which put the Rotters on top, 4-0.
