Dread Kings Topple Millionaires, 12-6, as Coombs Shines
The 12-6 Boise win over Alcoa was due in large part to Matt Coombs. The Dread Kings right fielder went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 5. Hector Flores, now 4-0, was credited with the win in 3.1 innings of relief. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 3. Boise is now 75-61. Alcoa is 63-73.

Steve Woodings broke a 5-5 tie in the top of the fifth with a run-scoring walk. It put the Dread Kings in front, 6-5. For the game, Woodings went 1 for 3 with a walk and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times.
