Razor Sharks Keep Reeling Off Wins
|
The Mesa Razor Sharks got a marvelous performance from pitcher Fernando Garcia. The right-hander kept the Mobile offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 4-1 Mesa victory at Mobile Grounds. Garcia yielded 1 run over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 3, and struck out 8. His record improves to 19-6. The Razor Sharks improved to a lofty 95-40.
Josh McIsaac, who is tied for 10th in the E-AA in extra base hits with 48, had a direct impact on the outcome. McIsaac contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Mesa up, 3-0.
"Winning breeds more winning, I guess," said Garcia.
