With right fielder Manuel Campos leading the charge, the Boise Dread Kings defeated the Riverside Rotters, 5-4, at Rotters Ballpark. Campos, who is tied for 3rd in the E-AA in home runs with 33, went 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Matt Pfluger, the winner, improved to 3-4. He held Riverside to 1 run on 6 hits over 6 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. The second-place Dread Kings hiked their record to 70-50.

With Boise leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Campos batted against Riverside pitcher Chris Lowe. Campos hit a fastball to right-center for a 2-run home run. His 33rd home run of the season put the Dread Kings on top, 4-1.
