6-1 Loss to Mountaineers Extends Alcoa Losing Streak
The home crowd had a good time watching the Alcoa Millionaires and Winchester Mountaineers get after it.

Josh Riese pitched a gem to lead Winchester to victory over the Alcoa Millionaires, 6-1. Alcoa now owns a losing streak of 8 games.

Winchester first baseman Ryan Burchett contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 45th hit of the season and put the Mountaineers ahead, 2-0.

"We're not going to feel sorry for ourselves," said Alcoa skipper . "Wouldn't do any good."
