In a tight game between the Traverse City Bears and the Alcoa Millionaires, pitcher Jeremy Schroeter was terrific on the mound. The Traverse City left-hander helped his team to the 3-0 win. Alex de Jesus got the save, the 9th for him this season. The loss makes Alcoa 49-56.

Jose Ruiz had a direct impact on the outcome. Ruiz contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Traverse City up, 2-0.
