Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Alcoa Millionaires and Boise Dread Kings.
Bobby Martinez pitched well, but his team, the Boise Dread Kings, still dropped a 3-2 decision to the Alcoa Millionaires at Ballpark of Boise. Alex Fernandez earned the win for Alcoa. He lasted 5 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 7-7. Roberto Archuleta earned the save, his 2nd.
Ben Keith had a direct impact on the outcome. Keith contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Alcoa up, 3-1.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Alcoa manager .
The Millionaires now have a record of 49-55.
