Rotters Suffer One-Run Loss at Rohnert Park
The Riverside Rotters could not turn a fine performance from third baseman Jeff Mullinax into a win. Instead, the Rohnert Park Cougars prevailed, 3-2. Mullinax went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Rohnert Park reliever Drew Yarussi picked up the win, upping his record to 3-4. Jose Betancourt took the loss. Dave Flores collected save number 6.

Steve Taylor helped out the Rohnert Park cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 3.

Taylor called the win "a lesson in teamwork."

The Cougars sit in 5th place in the Eastern AA Southen Division with a record of 45-58.
