Millionaires Win at Boise, 4-3
|
Dan Presnell pitched well, but the Boise Dread Kings still fell short, losing, 4-3, to the Alcoa Millionaires at Ballpark of Boise. At 48-54, Alcoa is in third place in the Eastern AA Northern Division.
Alcoa used a clutch at-bat from Dillon Reed to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Millionaires ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Reed.
