Gangsters Hope Opening Day Win Bodes Well for Season
The Chicago Gangsters got their 2022 season off and running with a win over the Toronto Trash Pandas at The Hideout. The final score was 5-0. Chicago pitcher Butch Saulters, in particular, had a fine performance.

Chris Caruso went 1 for 3, while adding 2 RBI for Chicago. The 29-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a 2-run single off Winston Caballero. It was his 1st hit of the season.

"I still think this team can play even better," Caruso told the Chicago Citizen.
