In a tight contest at Field of the Polecats, the Libertyville Polecats edged the Boise Dread Kings by the score of 7-6 in 11 innings. Libertyville third baseman Mickey Brown, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Libertyville reliever Gabe Thomas was the winner. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Danny Heasley. The defeat makes Boise 47-43.

The Polecats got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Everett Foley. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Polecats.
