Rotters Need Extra Innings to Top Bears, 16-11
Behind a fine performance from Juan Alcantara, the Riverside Rotters knocked off the Traverse City Bears in 10 innings, 16-11. Alcantara went 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 5 for the Rotters. The triumph puts Riverside at 59-26 for the season.

The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Alcantara delivered big-time for Riverside, stroking a dramatic grand slam home run off Jim Unknown. The game-changing hit put the Rotters on top, 15-11.

"It was one of those games where both teams were swinging the bat well," Alcantara said.
