In a low-scoring tilt between the Riverside Rotters and the Alcoa Millionaires, Chris Lowe, who is tied for 10th in the E-AA in wins with 6, was the difference-maker. The Riverside right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. In 7.1 innings, Lowe surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. Abel Viar was credited with the save for Riverside, his 13th of the season.

The Rotters got a big at-bat from left fielder Juan Alcantara. For the game, Alcantara was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 12th home run of the season gave Riverside a 2-0 lead.
