Tillery Shines in 10-5 Encinitas Win
The 2024 season is getting uglier for Traverse City.

Dan Tillery was a major contributor to the 10-5 Encinitas win over Traverse City. The Eskimo Brothers catcher went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Randy Lupton picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-2. He struck out 5 in 5.2 innings.

Arturo Guevara had a big 3-run home run for the Eskimo Brothers in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Encinitas leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Brandon Feldman and swatted a home run to right. It was his 3rd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Eskimo Brothers ahead, 5-0.

"This losing is getting old," said Traverse City manager Zach Hildebrant.

With the victory, the Eskimo Brothers upped their record to 50-28.
