Led by Brad Twomey, the Alcoa Millionaires downed the Traverse City Bears, 8-6. Twomey went 4-5 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 5 for the Millionaires. Roberto Archuleta picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Chris Bentley was tagged with the loss. The third-place Millionaires have a record of 32-41.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Twomey delivered big-time for Alcoa, stroking a dramatic 2-run home run off Chris Bentley. The game-changing hit put the Millionaires on top, 8-6.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Twomey.
