Moralez Now 4-4 After Subduing Rotters
The Libertyville Polecats topped the Riverside Rotters, 3-1, in Eastern AA action at Rotters Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Libertyville pitcher Ruben Moralez. The save went to Mike Corns, number 1 for him. Libertyville now has a record of 35-32 with the win.

Moralez, who dominated for Libertyville, earned the victory to move to 4-4. He was in control the whole game, scattering 5 hits over 8.2 innings, while striking out 9. Riverside batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Libertyville manager Justin Thiede.
